Abstract
Sorghum crops in the conditions of the Vitebsk region are highly productive. They form the yield of green mass in the range of 252.7-530.4 q/ha. The most productive of them is the sorghum-Sudanese hybrid with a single cut, the minimum yield of green mass was formed by chumiza. In terms of the collection of crude and digestible protein, the crops of the sorghum-Sudanese hybrid with one-cut use had an advantage, where these indicators amounted to 14.3 and 9.7 c/ha and for Sudan grass - 9.20 and 6.2 c/ha, respectively.
