This study aims to determine the fulfillment of the needs of victims of natural disasters through the implementation of a social assistance distribution system for victims of natural disasters that occurred in Padang Pariaman Regency. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach that describes the social assistance distribution system for victims of natural disasters with an orientation towards meeting the needs of the victims. It can also be categorized as exploratory research which studies a number of cases of aid distribution towards meeting the needs of victims. Data collection was carried out by direct interviews with officials who were directly involved in the distribution of aid, direct observation to victims of natural disasters, document review, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Data analysis, using descriptive-qualitative techniques. The results of the study conclude that the current social assistance distribution system for victims of natural disasters has not yet achieved the goal, namely meeting the needs of victims of natural disasters. Long mechanisms and procedures, incompatible with regional conditions, and the absence of potential synergy of personnel are factors between the ineffectiveness of the social assistance distribution system for victims of natural disasters in Padang Pariaman Regency. The results of the study recommend that in formulating a policy for the distribution of social assistance systems for victims of natural disasters, it should begin with periodic mapping of disaster events and the needs of victims, involving victims as recipients of assistance in accordance with the mandate of Article 26 of Law No.24 of 2007 concerning National Disaster Management. Local governments should be given full authority to implement policies in accordance with regional conditions and disaster characteristics. The granting of this authority should be included in the regional autonomy law regarding the rights of regional governments in the case of natural disaster management, specifically included in local regional regulations.

As a primary intervention, raising the topics of faith and religion with individuals traumatised by terrorism and/or natural disasters can be daunting for social workers, because victims often enter the helping relationship with feelings of helplessness, loss of personal control and of doubt about their relationships, environment, and their cultural and belief systems. Just as clients benefit from knowledge and awareness in the aftermath of a traumatic event, insights gleaned from traumatic experiences and from research can be useful for social workers grappling with the challenges associated with designing and deploying appropriate helping strategies with victims of disaster and terrorism. This article draws on extant literature and survey research, to explore how social workers might ethically assess clients' spiritual perspectives and incorporate helping activities that support clients' recovery, in the context of a spiritually sensitive helping relationship with victims of disaster and terrorism.

. The destructive impact of natural disasters (and other random events that are usually difficult to predict) is increasingly being felt in all areas of the functioning of modern states. The governments of those countries (often in cooperation with local authorities) take various measures to prevent such events and to minimise their consequences, including helping victims of their occurrence. One way to achieve some of the above intentions – although certainly not of fundamental importance – is the use of tax law instruments, in particular tax preferences. This study is an attempt to analyse and assess these provisions of tax law that allow victims of natural disasters to benefit from preferential tax rules. The study discusses the tax instruments used to help victims of natural disasters used by tax authorities. The analysis shows that the system of tax instruments protecting victims of natural disasters is largely based on discretionary solutions, used only as a result of an appropriate procedure followed by a formal decision of an authorised body (legal act or decision). In light of the studies carried out, it can be concluded in general that the system of tax instruments to protect persons affected by natural disasters requires certain measures to improve its effectiveness. Certain requests in this regard, addressed to the legislature, were generally indicated in the study. The article also presents some specific issues related to the interpretation of of the regulations under consideration, including some editorial and terminology doubts.

Natural disasters are one of the things that cannot be predicted. Natural disasters can cause losses, both assets and objects can even take lives. To reduce the number of losses, rapid evacuation handling from the Search and Rescue (SAR) team is needed to help victims of natural disasters. But in fact, there are often obstacles in the evacuation process. Such obstacles are such as bad weather conditions, disconnection of telecommunications networks, difficulty access to the victims of natural disasters and the spread of SAR teams that are not evenly distributed throughout the disaster area. Convolutional Neural Network is one of the developments of Artificial Neural Networks for image classification, image segmentation, and object recognition with high accuracy and high performance. CNN can learn to detect various images according to images from the dataset studied. So, this paper designed a system for detecting victims of natural disasters using the CNN method and implemented it on a raspberry pi which can detect victims of natural disasters through streaming cameras placed on UAVs. In this paper, the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method with 100% accuracy with distance object 1–4 m uses the Mobile-net SSD model.

Introduction: Natural disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis and hurricanes often cause significant loss of life and damage to infrastructure. Identification of victims of natural disasters is an important aspect in the recovery process and forensic investigation. Mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) has been proven to be an effective tool for individual identification due to its stable and maternally inherited nature. Teeth are an ideal source of DNA material for mtDNA analysis because they are durable against environmental degradation. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of mtDNA analysis of teeth for identifying victims of natural disasters in Manila, Philippines. Methods: Dental samples were collected from identified natural disaster victims and their family members. Mitochondrial DNA was extracted from teeth and analyzed using PCR and DNA sequencing techniques. The results of the mtDNA analysis were compared with mtDNA data obtained from family members to confirm the victim's identity. Results: Analysis of mtDNA on teeth succeeded in identifying all victims of natural disasters identified in this study. The mtDNA analysis results were consistent with mtDNA data obtained from family members, indicating the effectiveness of this method for individual identification. Conclusion: Analysis of mtDNA in teeth is a valuable tool for the identification of victims of natural disasters. This method can help in the recovery process and forensic investigations after natural disasters.

Natural disasters are events that cannot be predicted both by location and time of occurrence. Natural disasters cause property losses and can even take lives. The handling of rapid evacuation must be done by the SAR team to help victims of natural disasters to reduce the amount of loss. But in reality, there are many obstacles in the evacuation process. Starting from facing difficult terrain to necessary equipment limitation. In this research, a system designed to detect victims of natural disasters uses image processing where the picture is carried out using a drone that aims to help find victims in delicate or vulnerable locations when reached directly by humans. Based on this background, this research proposes the development of a method for the detection of victims of natural disasters that aims to assist the SAR team and natural disaster volunteers in searching for victims who are in hard to reach places. The You Only Look Once (YOLO) method is implemented using the python programming language related to image processing. From the research that has been done, the accuracy result of detecting objects of disaster victims is 89%.

Being physically disabled due to a natural disaster is a traumatic experience in a person's life that can make a person feel slumped and helpless in his life. It takes a psychotherapeutic intervention such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to foster resilience of victims of natural disasters who have physical disabilities in order to be able to bounce back, be productive, and be able to play their role again in society. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of ACT therapy on increasing the resilience of victims of natural disasters in Sigi who experienced physical disabilities. The research method used is quasy experiment with a one group pre-post test approach. The number of samples in this study was 22 respondents collected using purposive sampling techniques. This research was conducted in August-September 2022 in Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. The statistical test used is the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study showed that there was an effect of ACT therapy on increasing respondents' resilience (p=0000). In addition, this study showed that after being given ACT therapy, most respondents' resilience was in the high category (59%). This study indicates that a person who experiences a traumatic event such as a physical disability due to a natural disaster will face a difficult time in life, psychological vulnerability and the ability to cultivate low resilience. Therefore, it is important for health providers to pay attention to psychological aspects, as well as provide psychotherapeutic interventions such as ACT to victims of natural disasters, especially those who experience physical disabilities in the rehabilitative phase so that they can accept themselves, be committed, productive, and return to play their role in society
