Abstract

The aims of this study was to describe the application of the model of transparency and accountability in the NCO recruitment process at Polresta Malang City. Registration for recruitment of members of the National Police for Fiscal Year 2020 on March 19, 2021 to April 15, 2021, with the results at the NCO for registrants who passed the verification as many as 52 men and 2 women or 54 people. As many as 23 people who passed the verification for IT Special Competency Officers and all of them were men. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques with in-depth interviews, observation and secondary data. The results of the study show that the implementation of the acceptance of the National Police Officer for the 2020 fiscal year at the Malang City Police in the Governance perspective shows indicators of transparency in the implementation of the process of the National Police Officer acceptance test for the 2020 budget year at the Malang City Police from the beginning to the end that has met the transparency aspect, but related to socialization to high school/high school. SMK is not optimal. Meanwhile, if viewed from the accountability indicators for the implementation of the National Police Officers' acceptance, in general, they have fulfilled the aspects, although there are still phenomena of differences in measuring instruments. This explains that the accountability of the tools used as support is still not optimal.
