Abstract

This report is continuation of a series of reports started in 2000 on development of an engine with principally innovative system of propellants supply under use of the pneumopump (PP). The general schematic of this engine, operational principle and advantages of its application were presented in the paper IAF-00-S.1.04 (Rio de Janeiro, 2000). The report IAC-04- S.1.10 (Vancouver, 2004) presented preliminary results of PP autonomous tests, as well as tests of an engine. On the basis of these results a fundamental conclusion was drawn: an engine with PP has confirmed its workability, and its mixture ratio does not depend on inlet pressures and intra-engine hydraulic characteristics of units and aggregates. The report contains results of engine's development completion, which allow going to a phase of qualification tests. For these tests a third specimen of the engine has been assembled, tests of which will be completed in the beginning of 2006.
