Abstract

Agriculture is a key element of the Indian economic system. Many farmers are unaware of the outside world and agricultural technology advancements. Rajasthan is a largest state of India and also has the highest percentage of its land covered by desert. There are ten agro-climatic zones that divide the state. It has a variety of soil types and weather patterns, ranging from warm and humid in the south-east to dry and chilly in its western regions. Wheat is an incredibly versatile crop that can be produced in a variety of soil types and climates. For the estimation and forecasting of wheat crop yield in Rajasthan, satellite images, soil parameters, and weather information are important sources of information. All of these elements are interrelated, though. As a result, a prototype model is suggested that combines remotely sensed data with soil and meteorological information. Utilizing this crop model will help forecast crop yields at a specific point of Rajasthan in the growing season. Remote sensing serves as a significant data source for crop development monitoring and yield forecasting. Weather forecasting is necessary to enhance the productivity of agricultural activities. The growth and development of the crop are impacted by several climatic conditions. An important resource in agriculture is soil. For accurate crop yield forecasting, soil quality is crucial since it provides additional information. All types of soils are suitable for growing wheat except of those with high alkaline content and wet circumstances.
