Abstract

The properties of thermally modified CFG have been studied by means of gas chromatography. The isosteric heat adsorption for hexanc, benzene, chloroform and diothylether adsorbed on CPG srfaces of different boron concentration were determined. It was found that the heating of CPG causes 1. (a) dehydroxylation of the surface 2. (b) a gradual increase of the boron concentration in the surface region 3. (c) formation of borate crystals on the glass surface.
