Abstract

Some unusual properties of long bridges (with lengths L ~ 20 ~tm) in static magnetic fields and their possible explanations are given: the existence of Josephson effects in magnetic fields exceeding appreciably the critical magnetic fields of bulk materials, as well as the vanishing and re-appearing of the coherent Josephson radiation with the increasing magnetic field (Pb--Pb) and the Bg-dependence of the current step distance (Sn--Sn).
