Abstract

Abstract A central topic in metaethics ( see Metaethics) concerns the existence and nature of moral properties: Are there any moral properties and, if there are, what are they like? The answers to these questions bear on a number of fundamental issues in moral philosophy, such as the nature of moral judgments ( see Moral Judgment), whether there are any moral truths ( see Truth in Ethics), and the possibility of moral knowledge.
