Abstract

Abstract The powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) and electrical resistivity measurements were performed for compounds with nominal compositions derived from Bi2(SrCa)n-1CunOx. Some compounds have the two-step superconducting transitions at about 110K and 80K. The powder XRD patterns revealed that both low Tc (80K) and high Tc (110K) phases coexisted in the compounds. The c-dimensions of the low Tc phase and the high Tc phase were estimated as 30.7Å and 36.6A, respectively, from the results of XRD measurements.
