Abstract

We investigate the propagation properties of the chirped-Airy–Gaussian–Hermite–Laguerre–Gaussian (CAGHLG) wave packets analytically and numerically. We mainly discuss the features of the wave packets with various chirped conditions, modes and angles. The results reveal that the intensity distributions and the phase patterns of the CAGHLG wave packets change with different modes. Meantime, the CAGHLG wave packets can realize the transformation of correlation wave packets by altering angle. Additionally, we obtain two kinds of inversions of the CAGHLG wave packets by choosing appropriate chirp factors in the course of transmission.
