Abstract

The problem of the propagation of magnetoelastic surface waves in a cylinder has been considered in [17]. The magnetoelasticity equations of predeformed bodies, applied to wave propagation problems, are given in [15, 16, 18]. In [9, i0, 13] one has introduced the magnetoelasticity equations for bodies with initial stresses in the coordinates of the natural state, taking into account the effect of the deformations on the material characteristics of the electromagnetic field. In the case of perfect conductibility one obtains the representation of the general solutions.
