Abstract

Public property, as a phenomenon of property relationships in socialist legal system was in fact the negation of property, property which is everyone's and nobody's and complete opposite of private property. Public property is a form of ownership characteristic for the socialist system, as a specific form of turning public goods by the social and legal entities. A series of laws passed after 2000, had the aim to abolish earlier socialist relations, with the intention to convert all rights which steam from public property into a property right. In this paper is presented a research of property forms in North Backa district for the period 2008 to 2014 year, with a special emphasis on public property. Based on data obtained through the research, an analysis of converting public property to other forms of properties on agricultural land in the territory of the said distric has been done.
