Abstract

The article reveals the concept of a research project as a subjective result of research activity independently developed and created by a student or a group of students, which has subjective value in order to obtain an independently planned result in a certain period of time under the conditions of the teacher's consultative support. It was determined that the project activity of students of energy majors is a form of cognitive activity that consists of the motivational achievement of a consciously set goal of creating a scientific project, has a certain structure, and complex character provides scientific research activity, and is a means of personality development as a subject of study. It has been found that the concept of an educational platform for project activity in the field of energy efficiency serves as the enaction mechanism for the implementation of project-based scientific activity, which utilizes a base of the following scientific projects: “Principles of creating energy-efficient converting units of combined power supply systems with renewable sources”; “Development of a system of energy-efficient management of micro-energy networks of local facilities with traditional and renewable sources”; “Development of a software and technical complex for power consumption management in energy management systems of local facilities”; “Improving the energy management of hybrid photovoltaic systems of local facilities with energy storage”. It has been proved that the success of the implementation of research projects as one of the important conditions for the formation of research competence of students of energy majors depends on properly organized work and joint efforts of its participants at all stages, as well as the extent to which students possess the skills and abilities necessary for project activities.
