Abstract

Emergency life support equipment refers to medical equipment that can save the life of patients or maintain normal vital signs of patients. Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a highly centralized department of hospital emergency life support equipment. Good equipment quality control is an important measure to ensure the quality of medical care. ICU nurses, as a group of clinical users and maintenance of emergency life support equipment, play an important role in its quality control. This paper reviews the concept of ICU emergency life support equipment, the role of nurses participating in quality control of ICU emergency life support equipment, existing problems and countermeasures, etc. Key words: Intensive Care Unit; Emergency life support medical equipment; Medical equipment; Quality control
