Abstract
Background Laser capture microdissection (LCM)is a new technique for obtaining pure population of cells or even a single cell from heterogeneous tissues quickly and precisely under the microscope. Objective The review summaries the recent progress of LCM in neuroscience research. Content With the development of correlation technique,LCM has been used in neuroscience research.First,the principle and classification of LCM are introduced.Then the latest research on its neuroscience application are illustrated.The prospect of LCM is also described. Trend According to the characteristics of neuroscience research,the application of LCM in the field of neuroscience researchwill be further explored and will improve the related technologies in future.
