Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study reexamined the factor structure of the 62-item Professional Identity Scale in Counseling (PISC). An exploratory factor analysis suggested a 16-item, four-factor solution, and all four factors were positively correlated with subscales of the Professional Identity and Values Scale (PIVS). Confirmatory factory analysis revealed that this model is a good candidate for further testing.
