Abstract
This paper presents the work of producing a video about the biology of ants (Atta sexdens rubropiloa) and its didactic application. The video is 14min long and explores different aspects of the biology of ants, such as the division of tasks of different castes and its symbiosis with the fungus cultivated by them, as well as a detailed presentation of the life cycle of these insects, including all stages, from the nuptial flight to the foundation of a new colony. Finally, an analysis of the effectiveness of the video regarding its application in schools is made and it shows promising results from this type of activity.
