Abstract
The quality of manufacturing and repair of domestic agricultural machinery is considered according to the criteria of the 5M principle: man, methods, materials, machines, measurements. The main factors that reduce the level of competitiveness of technology are identified — the use of cheap materials, the lack of competent engineering personnel, and poor organization of control. Examples of the influence of the organization of control and the choice of measuring instruments on the quality of products are given.
