Abstract

This paper focuses on the general case (GC) bistatic synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data processing, and an analytical imaging algorithm by using the two-dimensional (2-D) chirp-z transform (CZT) is proposed. The reference function multiplication (RFM) is firstly performed to finish the bulk focusing. Then phase terms of the spectrum are decomposed into range phase terms and azimuth phase terms, and their space-variances are eliminated by CZT respectively to finish the differential focusing. The algorithm can be applied to wide scene imaging, and its effectiveness is verified by simulations.
