Abstract

Physical, neural network, and determinate modelling, and performance of test melts in Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Combine blast furnaces reveal processing solutions making it possible to accomplish successful blast-furnace operation in relation to the zone studied with respect to force interaction of charge and gas streams. The combined use of two or more measures overcomes the negative effect of each other on the course of melting, and this makes it possible to reduce specific coke consumption and improve furnace productivity.
