Abstract
The structure of a chemical system with a number of consecutive and concurrent steps of finite and infinite reaction rates was investigated by a consequent use of computation techniques. Model simplification was limited by the application purposes for product quality and large scale production control simulation. Critical investigation of multiple response measurement data and separate determination of chemical equilibria provided the condition for vector space reduction and successful estimation of parameters in discriminated kinetic models. A phenomenological model for dynamic simulation of batch or continuous cascade reactors was used for investigation of possible industrial flow sheets. The reaction conditions for the continuous processing (including also process disturbances) were analysed from the simulation data.
