Abstract

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the Eighth ACM SIGPLAN Erlang Workshop -- Erlang'09. This year's workshop continues the tradition of being co-located with the annual International Conference on Functional Programming (ICFP), and being a forum for the presentation of research theory, implementation and applications of the Erlang programming language. All submissions to the workshop were reviewed by at least three program committee members. The program committee accepted 10 papers that cover a variety of topics, including language aspects, Erlang program development, testing and validation as well as teaching and learning Erlang.
