Abstract

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the Thirteenth ACM SIGPLAN Erlang Workshop -- ERLANG'14. This year's workshop continues the tradition of being co-located with the annual International Conference on Functional Programming (ICFP), and being a forum for the presentation of research efforts and experience reports on all aspects of theory, implementation and applications of the Erlang programming language. The call for papers attracted a total of 14 submissions, each of them carefully reviewed by the program committee members. The program committee accepted 7 of those submissions as full papers, and 2 as poster presentations. In addition, the program committee invited a keynote presentation by Kevin Hammond, professor of Computer Science at the University of St Andrews and leader of their Functional Programming research group. Also, the program includes a poster session to provide opportunities for all participants to introduce themselves, present work in progress or wild ideas, and share their Erlang interests.
