Abstract
The methods of linear theory of observation systems can be used for the structural and parametrical synthesis of orbital gyrocompasses with the different set of sensors. The structure can be chosen on the basis of the subspace separation of the observed states and nonobserved ones and synthesis of observing devices of different degree of complexity. The parameters choice of these devices can provide any given dynamics of gyrocompassing. When observing devices are realized one can use integrating properties of gyroscopes and in some case it results in known models of orbital gryrocompasses.
