Abstract
The article examines the state of contemporary engineering problems of the industry and the need for major restructuring of machine-building enterprises in modern conditions, identifies the stages of restructuring gives the conclusion about necessity of formation of adaptive strategies for restructuring private enterprises of mechanical engineering.

The article examines the state of contemporary engineering problems of the industry and the need for major restructuring of machine-building enterprises in modern conditions, identifies the stages of restructuring gives the conclusion about necessity of formation of adaptive strategies for restructuring private enterprises of mechanical engineering. Главным направлением преобразований на микроуровне, по нашему мнению, является формирование и реализации стратегии реструктуризации российских промышленных предприятий. Использование стратегии реструктуризации способствует повышению значимости деятельности промышленных предприятий по достижению стратегических целевых установок в соответствии с приоритетами, используя различные формы и методы.
