Abstract

Since gaining independence, much attention has been paid to competition policy in Uzbekistan. In recent years, the relevance of the problem of developing competition in commodity markets has decreased, but the issue of underdeveloped competition in financial services markets remains unresolved. In this connection, the problem of monopolistically high prices for financial services in these markets remains. In this article, we have identified the main problems of the formation and functioning of the competitive financial services market in Uzbekistan.
