Abstract

AbstractWith the continuous updating and progress of information technology, big data technology has gradually stepped into the public vision. In the era of big data, the integration and analysis of a large number of data will replace historical experience as the main basis for people to make decisions, and also put forward new challenges to the traditional higher mathematics education model. Only by conforming to the characteristics of big data era, can higher mathematics educators in colleges accurately grasp and further explore the function of data resources and promote the construction and development of higher mathematics education in colleges. This paper mainly studies the problems and improvement strategies of higher mathematics curriculum under big data. Through literature analysis, comparison and big data technology, this paper closely links big data with the reform and innovation of higher mathematics courses. This paper analyzes the connotation and present situation of higher mathematics university education under the background of big data era, and finds out the methods and ways of applying big data in higher mathematics university education, and then improves the pertinence and effectiveness of higher mathematics university education. By mining the role of data resources in the application of higher mathematics education, this paper provides a practical reference for the innovation and development of higher mathematics university education. This paper analyzes the influence of big data on higher mathematics education and the problems and causes of higher mathematics curriculum, and puts forward the improvement strategy of higher mathematics education under the background of big data. Experimental research shows that the content arrangement of Chinese and American higher mathematics textbooks is quite different. Among the common contents, the basic content of American higher mathematics textbooks is much more detailed than that of Chinese higher mathematics textbooks, and the content breadth and depth of Chinese higher mathematics textbooks are 1.2 times that of American higher mathematics textbooks.KeywordsBig dataHigher mathematicsEducational reformProblems
