Abstract

The article examines A. Voznesensky’s poem «Moat» in the aspect of moral and ethical issues, gradual loss of spirituality in the life of human civilization. The author notes that in the poem provides a broad historical – temporal parallel between the past and the present, predicted the future of humanity, which is facing a real threat of moral degradation; analyzes the logical relationship between the parts of the poem, especially its structure, a subordinate General idea. Comparing and contrasting the ideological and artistic plan of the poem by I. L. Selvinsky's «I saw it» and the poem of A. Voznesensky «Moat», the author concludes that a more multidimensional and multipolar last. «Moat», as conceived by the poet, is and warning, a warning about global moral degradation, a reminder of the fatal errors of mankind, which should not be forgotten. It is summarized that in General the poem is a call to fight against human vices, reprimand the criminal inaction, moral education, spiritual development of personality, patriotism, citizenship.
