Abstract
We investigate the two-dimensional (2D) probe absorption spectrum in a four-subband semiconductor quantum-well system driven by two orthogonal standing-wave lasers. It is found that the spatial distribution of 2D probe absorption spectrum can be significantly improved via adjusting the system parameters. The scheme shows the underlying probability for the formation of the 2D electron localization in a solid.
