Abstract

Polymeric materials are actively used in new optical devices. Modern advances in the synthesis, manufacture, and processing of polymers make it possible to use them in manufacturing hybrid optical systems. This article presents the results of the development of surgical hybrid eyeglasses using components from polymer optical materials. The results indicate that the obtained optical system, including components made of glass and polymers, has good image quality, low mass, and compactness.
