Abstract
El presente trabajo reporta por primera vez al dinoflagelado Peridinium gatunense en el Caribe colombiano a partir de muestras recolectadas en las Ciénagas de Ayapel, Cintura y el Porro, departamento de Córdoba. Se describen las características morfológicas de la especie incluyendo medidas de la epiteca, hipoteca y secuencia de tabulación de placas antapicales.
