Abstract

    The article analyses, how the types of syntactic relations are described in the works on Lithuanian syntax of the 1st half of the 20th century. The investigation opens with Jonas Jablonskis’ Syntax of the Lithuanian Language (1911) and ends with Leonardas Dambriūnas’ Syntax of the Lithuanian Language (1946 and later editions). The concept and definition of subordination types and their application when describing and splitting sentence parts are taken into account.
