Abstract

This paper presents an analysis on the performance of the prewhitening signal covariance estimation under two kinds of non-ideal scenarios. In the first scenario, some sources exist only in the control condition and do not exist in the task condition. In the second scenario, the signal sources exist both in the control and the task conditions, and they change their intensities between the two conditions. The results from computer simulation to validate the analysis are also presented.
