Abstract
Ohjeetive To explore curative effect of improved artificial ocular Die combined with amniotic membrane transplantation for whole ocular surface reconstruction in prevention or reduction of eye symblepharon after eye burns damage.Methods The treatment group: under microscopic, single-layer or multi-layer amniotic membrane were fixed on the wound, improved ocular Die were implanted into conjunctival sac accompanied with the amniotic membrane, and the membrane part outside of lid-margin was cut off.Control group: under microscope, the single-layer or multi-layer amniotic membrane, which was exceed the wound surface, were covered and fixed on the wound external part.Results The difference of symblepharon degree between treatment group and control group was statistically significant.Conclusions The use of whole eye surface reconstruction combined improved artificial eye membrane die with amniotic membrane transplantation after eyebum damage is a positive and effective treatment to prevent and reduce symblepharon.
