Abstract
Menopause, in the transition phase that generally occurs between the ages of 45 and 55, causes significant hormonal changes that affect a woman's physical and emotional health and quality of life. The reduction in hormones such as estrogen and progesterone especially impacts the skin, making it thinner, drier and less elastic, which facilitates the appearance of wrinkles and sagging. This process intensifies the search for aesthetic treatments aimed at revitalizing the skin and strengthening self-esteem. Among these interventions, radiofrequency (RF) and the use of dermocosmetics stand out, which stimulate fibroblasts and promote collagen production, being effective in facial, body and intimate rejuvenation. This study reviews scientific articles, dissertations, scientific journals, which were published between 2020 and 2024, with the aim of identifying treatments that prevent the signs of skin aging and promote skin health, seeking to offer effective aesthetic care alternatives for menopausal women.
