Abstract

Objective To investigate and analyze the prevalence rate of nosocomial infection at hospital and to provide some evidences for clinical prevention and treatment. Methods All hospitalized patients from 00:00 to 24:00 on November 18th, 2015 were selected. And the prevalence rate of nosocomial infection was investigated by bedside survey and medical record. Results 1 104 hospitalized patients were included in the investigation. Among which, 1 099 were actually investigated and the investigation rate was 99.54%. The prevalence rate of nosocomial infection was 1.09%. The case prevalence rate was 1.09%. The internal medicine group had the highest prevalence rate (50.00%). Lower respiratory tract infection accounted for 75.00%. The antimicrobial drug use rate was 41.49%. Conclusion Investigating the prevalence rate of nosocomial infection in hospital can better take effective measures to reduce the incidence of nosocomial infection and ensure the safety of medical treatment.
