women the rise in estimated CAD risk exactly corresponded to the expected one as followed from the data from Framingham Study. Additional data on direct antiatherosclerotic effects of Allicor were obtained from limited clinical study with ultrasonographic imaging of carotid arteries. The results of this study demonstrated that Allicor (garlic powder tablets) may be the potentially effective drug for primary prevention of coronary heart disease and myocardial infarction.
