Abstract

• The high incidence of the development of pressure ulcer both creates a major problem during perioperative period and also a burden on health care. During the pandemic period, data containing up-to-date evidence is extremely needed. • Determining the incidence of pressure ulcer and patient-related risks in the perioperative period during the Covid-19 pandemic may play an important role in taking more systematic preventive measures. • Controlling the risk factors affecting the development of pressure ulcers in the perioperative period will affect the quality of health services much more positively. • These findings can drive the implementation of preventive measures to reduce the pressure ulcer factors of risk associated during perioperative period.
