Abstract
Neutral-ionic (NI) transition was observed in three CT crystals of TTF and tetrahalo- p-benzoquinones with 2:1 compositions. Two acceptor sites of different ionicities were observed in all the complexes above the transition pressure (ca. 2.0 GPa). This result suggests that a couple of TTF-quinone-TTF trimers behave cooperatively in the NI transition.
