Qualitatively new phenomena occur in the flow of surfactant-laden interfaces, where surfactant surface viscosity depends on concentration. These include ``choking'' of flow through a narrow channel, an upper bound on squeezing flow velocity, and kinematically irreversible particle dynamics near walls.
