Abstract

ABSTRACT THE gas exchange of oxygen limiting silos in response to the changes in the environmental air temperature and atmospheric pressure was described in a simulation model. This model can predict the oxygen intake for varying thermal response factors, breather bag volumes and valve pressures. It can be used in the design of the pressure compensation system for different silo types in given local or regional climates.
