Abstract

1. 26 strains of mycoplasmas were successfully preserved on anhydrous silica gel crystals for 80 weeks at +4°C.2. There was a sharp decline in viability of the strains if they were stored at room temperature.3. This preservation technique is simple to perform and requires only inexpensive equipment.
