Abstract
I am pleased to have been asked to give a brief presentation today regarding the presentation of Care Plans to court. In addressing this subject, I will focus on what elements should be included in a care plan and shall draw on the findings of a study commissioned by the Northern Health and Social Services Board earlier this year regarding the quality of statements being submitted to court by local Trust social workers in respect of Care Order applications.
