Abstract

Pharmaceutical care is the set of actions focused on promotion, protection and health recovery, both individual and collective, having medicines as essential inputs and aiming at access and its rational use, thus being an integral part of the social law attributed by the current legislation. In order to promote greater access to health for the population, also minimizing large hospital flows, especially for the care of minor illnesses, professionals other than doctors, were qualified and legally received the right to formalize their medication guidelines or not to patients. One of these was the pharmaceutical professional, who received the legalization of this act through RDC 586/2013. However, it is not enough to be a bachelor in the profession to perform this act well, it is necessary that he / she qualifies by acquiring knowledge and expertise to perform a good anamnesis and thus promote a responsible and satisfactory prescription.
