Abstract

NiZnO thin film is fabricated on glass substrate by the sol gel dip coating method at withdrawal speed of 250mm/s. Already prepared thin film is then annealed in open air furnace at 500˚C. To study the effect of withdrawal speed on the microstructure of Ni:ZnO thin film different characterization techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), Vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) and UV-VIS spectrometry are performed. Structural studies confirmed the furthermore deposition of NiZnO. An UV-visible result shows that the value of band gap (Eg) is 2.59eV. VSM study showed that thin film is ferromagnetic.
