Abstract

The article examines the problems arising in the system of training teachers in the light of new realities. The author has highlighted the most pressing tasks of the higher education system in preparing future teachers. Ways of their solutions and implementation are proposed. The special mission of pedagogical higher educational institutions in preparing teachers for professional activities is noted. The existing university practice of training students is analyzed using the example of the Arkalyk Pedagogical Institute named after I. Altynsarin. The author considers the prompt response of the university pedagogical process of training future teachers to the demands of society, its anticipatory nature, as an important pattern in the training of teachers of a new formation.
