Abstract

Polyacrylonitrile doped thiol-functionalized graphene oxide nanofibrous membranes loaded with silver nanoparticles (AgNPs@PAN/GO-SH) were synthesized by electrospinning. AgNPs@PAN nanocomposites were also synthesized by means of In-situ and UV reduction. The stability of AgNPs loaded on the composites were compared under different pH and agitation speeds, and the results showed that the stability of AgNPs in the composite from the new strategy was much better than that from the other two methods. The catalytic performance of AgNPs@PAN/GO-SH was also studied and the results indicated that AgNPs@PAN/GO-SH had good catalytic reduction performance. This study provided a feasible way for the design and synthesis of effective and stable composite for degradation of dyes in water.
