Abstract

In this article, the authors are describing the preparation of herbal soap from the stinging nettle and treatment of skin diseases. Stinging nettle plant characterized by fine hairs in the leaves and stems, the release of chemicals, stinging and triggering inflammation that cause redness, and irritation to the skin. Various kinds of herbal soaps produced recently from plant extracts for cosmetic purposes, treatment of skin disorders. Herbal soap obtained from the stinging nettle herb by saponification reaction in the alkaline medium is effective in the treatment of acne, eczema, viral infections, dermatitis, and other skin disorders.
