Abstract
The use of anodic oxidation for preparation of Anthrasol Blue IBC eliminates totally the oxidant lead dioxide and results in the solution of the complicated problems arising in the fields of oxidant recovery and environmental protection. The use of a mesh lead dioxide electrode as an anode increases the mechanical strength of the electrode. The operation and maintenance of the electrolytic cell are described.
