Abstract
This study designs and prepares broadband terahertz absorbing coatings. The electromagnetic simulation software is used to simulate and analyze the influence of permittivity, thickness of the coatings and incident angle of terahertz wave on the reflectivity of the absorption coatings within the range of 0.25 THz ~ 3 THz. Results show that as the real part of the dielectric constant and thickness increase, the low-reflection peak moves to lower frequencies. When the imaginary part of the dielectric constant and incident angle change, the intensity of the reflectivity peak changes relatively vastly. Terahertz absorption coatings with different thicknesses are prepared, and the reflectivity test results are consistent with the simulation results. The coatings have excellent absorption performance within the range of 0.25 THz ~ 3 THz, and the absorption exceeds 2.5 THz when the bandwidth is lower than -10dB.
